What we say about the Stöckli Stormrider 110 TT: Another all category from Stöckli- a true powder ski! The Stormrider 110 TT has both tip and tail rocker and an entirely new construction designed to reduce weight but retain Stöckli's 'feel'. The designers at Stöckli build this ski with a wood core and titanal layers for torsional rigidity and a smooth, supple ride. However, they left out the fiberglass layers that they use in most Stöckli skis. This keeps the ski weight low without having a negative impact on ski performance or feel. This is hands down the best ski Stöckli has ever made for skiing powder... and it does pretty darn good on the firm snow and crud as well.

I was very surprised how easy it was to make short, quick, relatively powerful (I wasn't just smearing turns) in soft snow. Obviously when you want to be a big shot and straight line a gnarly line, this ski will perform, but that's what it's designed for. What really makes me love this ski is its ability to be skied in relatively all conditions and still perform. Definitely not just a big mountain ski... If I wasn't skiing park most of the time, this would be my everyday ski. (Posted on 1/17/12)
