Our good friend Dean Decas has been getting the goods in Chamonix, France. Last week he sent us an update with him shredding pow and chilling with Seth Morrison, and the other day he sent us additional eye candy. A close friend to the Skiershop family, Dean Decas finally returned to the mountains in his heart, Chamonix, France. Dean spends his summers in New England, however the snow came with a fury in Europe and he quickly took off to Cham where he ski mountaineers and guides clients to the goods. A few weeks ago our friend and X-Team Member Dean Decas was at Skiershop – remember that X-Team crew… John and Dan Egan, Dean Decas, and Rob, Eric, and Adam DesLauriers. He and I were speaking about Chamonix, where he resides during the winter, and he mentioned that his friend was skiing/guiding with the Oakley crew filming for Seth Morrison’s new movie “The Ordinary Skier.”
Dean is always excited to talk about skiing, and hearing about the crew’s run down the North Face of the Aiguille du Midi, I was super stoked to see it – though wanted more after seeing the teaser for Seth’s new film.
Here is a video filmed by Bjarne Sahlen regarding the crew’s run down the Col du Plan, and it gives a sneak peak of what “The Ordinary Skier” is all about. I personally can’t wait to see this movie!
