Klint 2012

Local boy, pro-skier, and Klint rider - Tanner Rainville

Klint is one of the newest freeride ski companies. They have snagged several top freeskiers, and more importantly their skis have been highly reviewed. Take a look at what Skiershop has to offer from Klint

Krypto: 145-123-142 – 175cm, 182cm, 189cm. This is Tanner Rainville’s go-to ski for slaying pow and backcountry jibbing. It features: slanted ABS sidewalls, potent full birch wood core, sandwich construction, multiple radius design, rocker construction, U.H.M.W. sintered base, and a CAD controlled stone grind. Tanner shreds, and you will too on this ski!

Prime: 128-91-115 (179cm) – 170cm, 179cm, 188cm. The Prime is Klint’s all mountain twin, everything from park to slaying lines, this ski has got you covered. It features: slanted ABS sidewalls, potent full birch wood core, sandwich construction, U.H.M.W. sintered base, and a CAD controlled stone grind.

Pure: 123-90-123 (182cm) – 175cm, 188cm. A park tester favorite from Powder Magazine, the Pure is a true twin with symmetrical sidecut and rocker/camber profile. It features: slanted ABS sidewalls, potent full birch wood core, sandwich construction, rocker construction, U.H.M.W. sintered base, and a CAD controlled stone grind.

Prime Junior: 113-79-105 – 135cm, 145cm, 155cm, 165cm. The groms need legit boards too, and the Prime features the same quality features as the Prime just in smaller sizes.

Voleurz That’s Fine

Last year at IF3 the Voleurz movie “Look On The Bright Side,” was one of my favorites.  The footage and editing was great, and their attitude was all about having fun.  Last week Voleurz dropped the trailer for their latest flick “That’s Fine.”  It looks to be more than that… – Erme

The Skiershop.com crew has skiing on the mind 24/7, though in the summer they may put a bike to good use too!  Each member of our staff is committed to getting you stoked on skiing and equipped with the gear to do so.  Here is a little bit of information about the staff so you can see what gear they use and why. – Erme

Jeff Neagle – Sales & Service

Originally From: Cumberland, ME.

How long have you worked at Skiershop: A year and a half.

Why Stowe? I like the vibe on the East Coast, and Stowe has the most to offer out of anywhere I’ve skied on this side of the country.

Ideal day on the hill? I’ll probably take some heat from my fellow employees on this one, but in my opinion nothing beats a 50 degree sunny park day…Oh and there can’t be any wind.

Gear:

Ski – Boone Park/Freeride/Pow

Bindings – Rossi FKS 18/Marker Jester

Boots – Nordica Dead Money

Outerwear – First Drop/Outdoor Technology

Goggles – Electric EG1s

Best day ever? Either the first day I landed a cork 7 or the first time I landed a dub.

Summertime activity and tool of choice?: Mountain Biking – Giant Reign 1.

Favorite Stowe après location? Piecasso.

The boys from EASTablished Media just dropped their latest installment in the Tough Break webseries.  Episode 5 features park riding at Stowe Mountain Resort, and some old fashion backyard riding complete with sleds and Vermont sugaring.  The first half of this episode is my favorite thus far from the EASTablished crew, the slow motion cuts and beats are awesome.  Looking forward to episode 6!
