Chris Davenport and Hugo Harrison Coming to Skiershop

This Saturday please join Skiershop.com and Kästle Skis in welcoming Chris Davenport and Hugo Harrison to Stowe, VT.

Chris and Hugo will be at Skiershop (580 Mountain Road Stowe, VT 802-253-9400) at 2:00pm. They will be signing books & posters and speaking with guests prior to heading to The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center for the 7:00pm movie presentation.

In addition, if you purchase a pair of 2012 Kästle’s you will receive a free Sport Tube – Valid on Saturday only.

Opening Reception “Natural Playground” Photo Exhibit

Tonight, October 14th, is the opening reception for The Natural Playground Photo Contest at the Darkroom Gallery in Essex, VT. Skiershop is very excited to be a sponsor of the event, and we are looking forward to checking out all the great photos that were selected as finalists.

The reception will be taking place from 6-8pm, where event organizers will be announcing the Juror’s Choice, and attendees will be allowed to vote for the Viewer’s Choice award. If you can’t make the reception, you can still vote online HERE through Nov. 4th.

We hope to see you there as there will be many door prizes from all the sponsors.

Natural Playground Photo Contest

Venture There – a member of USA Today’s Travel Alliance and run out of Burlington, VT, is hosting a nation wide adventure photo contest. We are proud to announce that Skiershop has just partnered with ‘Venture There’ and will be offering a prize package. The competition looks to attract top photographers across the country, and the photos will be displayed at the Dark Room Gallery in Essex Junction, VT, and judged by Corey Rich and Justin Gural.

The Artist Reception will be taking place on October 14th at the Dark Room Gallery, and Skiershop will be in attendance passing out coupons and product give-aways!

If you are a photographer and have not yet entered, you have until September 13th. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the October 14th Artist Reception.
