The Viva P80 introduces three new features developed by Tecnica for 2011. Air Shell being the most notable feature can be found between the liner and the shell. On the back of the boot are two sets of + and - pumps, and along the side of the shell by the heel and foot are air chambers. Air Shell allows its user to customize the fit of their boot by filling open space with air pockets not only making the boot more snug but also making it warmer because air provides optimal light weight insulation. With the two sets of pumps working independently for each side of the boot, a perfect fit is easy to achieve. The Delta Force switch in the back of the boot allows for the cuff to have a customized rebound flex which provides direct power transmission.
