To allow a wider range of skiers to benefit from the initial Black Crows Corvus 196 technology, it was necessary to adjust the ski in terms of construction, width and flex. With a slightly less raised tip for better rotation, an increased sidecut for a more compact ski and a lightweight wood core, the Corvus 185 meets our high standards of versatility and performance. For this 2012 edition, the flex has been even more refined on the front part of the ski. Freeride, piste, ski touring, telemark, these red Corvus are the skis that can do it all, whatever the conditions.

- Great one ski quiver! Review by ski gal

This ski has been such a blast to ski on. So far in the week I have owned them I have skied groomers, choppy snow and powder and it performs beautifully in all conditions. I have the 175 which is a touch longer than I normally ski, but in no way to do I feel that I have "too much" ski. It is truly a versatile ski while being lightweight. If you are looking for a ski that you can ski in any condition this is definitely it! (Posted on 2/24/12)Price Value Quality - Corvus 196.5 Review by erikg

I had a chance to take out a Corvus in a 196.5 for a few runs and the ski blew me away. I had skied on stiff skis before but nothing this powerful. I like to charge hard and these skis track through anything at mach 4. I have never felt so comfortable laying out fast turns through tracked out powder and none of the quick changes in terrain could disrupt the corvus. Its an amazing ski and the light weight build with the camber and tip rise is the perfect combination. (Posted on 1/19/12)Price Value Quality
